This year’s MAD//FEST 2018 was sponsored by Vertis Media, amongst others, the largest marketing, advertising and tech festival in the UK. And what an event it was! For two days the Truman Brewery played host to experts in adtech from all sectors in a combination of inspiring novelty and practical demonstrations of just how relevant technology is in its input on how consumers use that technology but also their reflection on updates regarding data privacy.
In a post GDPR era where AI and optimisation processes are rapidly evolving, companies like Vertis Media are ensuring the ways in which data is collected and analysed is mindful and respectful. The future looks to creating more space for being human in a world where capitalising on technology is the norm, placing the customer in first position when it comes to the service that we offer and being top of our game in predicting customer needs.
This year’s MAD//FEST London created a spacious hub where more than 2,700 leading names in the media and advertising industry discussed how marketing is a leading force when it comes to business. It took a closer look at some of the cutting-edge trends based on tech innovation, personalisation and the relevance of authenticity. The festival was a forum of ideas that found a space where ideas mingled and developed into new partnerships and creative associations in a proud celebration of the positives brought about by technology.
